Fingerprint Analysis of Essential Oils from Citrus Plants
The essential oils of grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, citrus, sweet orange and pomelo were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The results showed that a total of 19 components were detected in 6 citrus essential oil samples, which were mainly terpenes, alcohols, aldehydes, esters, ketones and phenols, and the contents of terpenes, alcohols and aldehydes were higher. The common components of the six citrus essential oils were α-pinene,β-laurene,D-limonene,etc.,and different citrus essential oils also contained unique components, which was one of the factors contributing to the different qualities of citrus essential oils.
