Optimization of Extraction Process by Response Surface Methodology and Antioxidant Activity of Total Flavonoids from the Nv'er Tea of Mount Tai
Using the ultrasound-assisted ethanol extraction method, with ultrasonic time,liquid-material ratio and ethanol concentration as single factors, and the Box-Behnken response surface methodology was used to optimize the extraction process of total flavonoids from Nv'er tea of Mount Tai,and besides its antioxidant activity was evaluated in vitro. The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions of total flavonoids were ultrasonic time 41 minute,liquid-material ratio 23∶1,ethanol concentration 54%,and the yield of total flavonoids was 10.15%under these conditions.Three kinds of antioxidant activity methods showed that the total flavonoids had strong antioxidant activity in vitro. This study provides a theoretical basis for the extraction and separation of total flavonoids and the further study of antioxidant activity for Nv'er tea of Mount Tai.
