Application of Spherical Ziegler-Natta Catalyst in the Sinopec Loop Reactor Polypropylene Process
Three kinds of polypropylene(PPH-T03,N-Z30S and PPR-M55-S)were produced with domestic spherical Ziegler-Natta catalyst(Catalyst 1)in the second generation of Sinopec loop reactor polypropylene process of Sinopec Maoming Branch.The catalytic efficiency and hydrogen sensitivity of spherical catalyst for producing three kinds of polypropylene were studied.The particle size and product quality of each kind of polypropylene were analyzed and compared with another domestic spherical catalyst(Catalyst 2).The results show that the quality of polypropylene produced by the two catalysts is similar to that of Catalyst 2,but the hydrogen conditioning of Catalyst 1 is better,which is more advantageous to the production of high melt index products.
