Exploration and Research on Viscosity Reduction and Flooding in Deep Heavy Oil Reservoirs of the Hero Beach Oilfield
Due to factors such as weak energy, oil viscosity, low permeability, and sensitivity in the formation of the Da 35 inclined 20 block in the Hero Beach oilfield, conventional water injection development has poor results; The performance of LPA viscosity reducer system was evaluated, which was characterized by high water injection pressure, uneven reserve utilization, low water drive efficiency, and high sensitivity of oil wells to high water content.Through parallel sand filled tube displacement experiments and microscopic visualization oil displacement experiments, the ability of LPA viscosity reducer flooding and conventional viscosity reducer flooding to improve oil recovery rate was studied. The experimental results show that under the experimental temperature of 70℃,with an oil-water ratio of 3∶7,the LPA system formed a relatively stable emulsion with the D35-X20 crude oil blocks, and the highest viscosity reduction rate reached 98.2%.The increased recovery rate of LPA viscosity reducer is 6.67%,which is higher than the 2.18%of ordinary viscosity reducers. In on-site experiments, the test well group accumulated over 600 tons of oil with an input-output ratio of 1∶1.52,providing good experience for viscosity reduction and flooding in heavy oil reservoirs in this block.
