Synthesis And Structural Characterization of Metallic Aluminum Complexes Based on Aryl-bridged Bis(β-diketiminato)Ligands
As an ideal class of nitrogen-containing monoanionic non-cyclopentadienyl ligands,β-diimide can well stabilize low-valent or coordination unsaturated metal complexes, while bridging bis(β-diketiminato)ligands have multiple active sites than a single β-diimide ligand, and will coordinate with metals in more ways, and such complexes exhibit higher catalytic activity and richer reactivity. In this paper, the corresponding binuclear metal aluminum complexes were obtained by the reaction of aryl-bridged bis(β-diketiminato)ligand LH2(L=[μ-(1,4-C6H4)][N(Me)CH2-CH2NC(Me)CC(Me)HNDipp]22-,Dipp=2,6-(iPr)2C6H3)and 4 equivalent trimethyl aluminum LAl2Me4(1).The complex was then structurally characterized by 1H NMR,13C{1H}NMR R,infrared spectroscopy, and single crystal X-ray diffraction.
