Preparation of Self-lubricating Polyamide-imide(PAI)Enamel and Application on Enameled Wire
Self-lubricating Polyamide-imide(PAI)enamel was prepared by adding Polyether Modified Polysiloxane into PAI enamel. We studied the effects of Polyether Modified Polysiloxane on the viscosity, solid content, and film-forming properties of PAI enamel, and investigated the effects of Polyether Modified Polysiloxane on the tensile and surface static friction properties of PAI films.By using the enameling process,a 2 um self-lubricating PAI film is applied on the outer layer of the enameled wire, and the mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties of the enameled wire were analyzed. It was found that the addition of Polyether Modified Polysiloxane reduced the static friction force on the surface of the enameled film.At the same time,it did not affect the viscosity and solid content of PAI enamel, nor did it affect the tensile performance of the enameled film. When applied to the surface of enameled wire, the static friction on the surface of the wire was reduced by more than 80%,and the wire could maintain excellent electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties.
