Study on the Placement Stability of Alcohol-based Disinfectant Products
Objective:To study the placement stability of alcohol-based disinfectant products. Methods:The experiment was conducted to analyze the initial ethanol contents and placement ability of placement(simulate normal home placement conditions)stability for 9 different types of alcohol-based disinfectant products by headspace sampling-gas chromatography. Results:In the original package, the ethanol content in spray cans and capping products showed a significant downward trend with the increase of placement duration, and there was obvious differences between different products of the same class(coefficient of variation=0.3%~46.2%),while no significant change(range<3.5%)was found in the other 7 types of products, and the difference between different products of the same type was weak(coefficient of variation<14.4%).After opening, the placement stability of spray can type and push type alcohol-based disinfectant products with nozzles was significantly different from that of other types. Conclusion:The spray can type and push type alcohol-based disinfectant products with nozzles should be used as soon as possible after opening.individual packaging for cotton balls and wet wipes has better placement stability.
