Optimization of HIC Container Design for Radioactive Waste Treatment
As a clean and efficient energy,nuclear energy is one of the important substitutes for non-renewable energy,and it is also an effective choice for optimizing energy structure,rational energy protection,development and utilization of our country.At the same time,the treatment of radioactive nuclear waste has become an important part in the development of nuclear power.Compared with traditional cement curing technology,high integrity container(HIC)can directly hold the dried radioactive waste resin and concentrated liquid drying salt(has a higher waste minimization level),which has become one of the main development directions of radioactive waste management..In view of the shortcomings of the current high integrity concrete container,such as the large volume of the container,poor anti-floating effect and poor covering property of the contents,this paper carried out design optimization,developed a concrete high integrity container with higher performance and conducted certain engineering application verification,providing technical support for the efficient treatment of radioactive waste generated by nuclear power plants and chemical plants.
