Study on the Mechanism of Rhizoma Phragmitis in Treating Hypertension Based on Network Pharmacology
Objective:To study and explore Rhizoma Phragmitis potential targets and mechanisms of the active ingredients in the treatment of hypertension based on network pharmacology. Methods:The active components of its were obtained from the data of TCM Network Pharmacology Database(TCMSP).The potential targets were provided by PubChem and Swiss Target Prediction databases, and the hypertension-related targets were obtained from OMIM,DisGeNET,and GeneCard.VENNY analysis was carried out on the obtained drugs and disease targets.String was used to construct a PPI network for protein-protein interaction.Running DAVID for GO and KEGG analysis, and data mapping analysis was carried out on the micro-information platform to study the potential mechanism of action of its in the treatment of hypertension. Results:There were 26 chemical components,432 targets,1522 hypertension targets, and 165 intersecting targets. The main active ingredients of anti-hypertensive include 6 kinds of linalool and eugenol, and 19 key targets include AKT1,SRC,STAT3,EGFR,TNF,PTGS2 and ESR1.GO and KEGG obtained the HIF-1 signaling pathway and the AGE-RAGE signaling pathway related to the treatment of hypertension with it,which primarily impact the regulation of physiological activities such as inflammation and cell proliferation. Conclusion:Rhizoma Phragmitis primarily lowers hypertension through multiple targets and pathways.
