Efficacy Study of the Barrier-repair and Anti-aging of an Ectoin Containing Lotion
This study for the first time explored the synergistic effects of Ectoin and physiological lipid complexes in clinical applications. The efficacy of the product was evaluated by measuring changes in skin hydration,Transepidermal Water Loss(TEWL),elasticity, firmness, and wrinkles in 31 subjects with signs of facial aging before product use,and after 2 and 4 weeks of use.The results showed that after 4 weeks of product use, there were significant improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, and firmness(p<0.05),and significant reductions in TEWL and wrinkles(p<0.05),indicating that Ectoin and physiological lipid complexes significantly enhanced skin barrier function and anti-aging indicators.
