A Research Review on Decontamination Foam Containing Mineral Particles
Developing the formulation with good stability,high decontamination efficiency and easy secondary waste disposal is the key to the application of foam decontamination technology.Inorganic mineral particles have attracted much attention in the field of decontamination foam formulation due to their advantages of stabilizing foam and easy to treat.This paper summarized the research works of the Commission d'Energie Atomique(CEA)and the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute(KAERI)on decontamination foam containing mineral particles(especially silica nanoparticles).It was hoped to provide reference for the improvement of decontamination foam formulation.
