Application of In-Situ Aerobic Stabilization Technology in Landfill Treatment——Taking The Old And Decayed Garbage Landfill in Xinhui District As An Example
At present, there are many treatment technologies for the treatment of domestic waste landfills, and the in-situ aerobic stabilization treatment technology stands out with its unique advantages.Traditional anaerobic landfill sites generate methane containing landfill gas through anaerobic biological processes, and the degradation of organic matter in landfill waste takes more than 50 years. At the same time, there are problems such as difficult leachate treatment, long maintenance and supervision period after closure, high risk, high cost, and unfavorable for timely reuse of the site.Due to the high concentration of methane in landfills, there is a potential risk of long-term explosion and combustion, making them unsuitable for public access. The long-term existence of the above problems has led to environmental and safety hazards during the development and utilization of the site or the construction of wetland parks, which will result in long-term operational maintenance and management tasks, requiring long-term investment in these areas. In situ aerobic stabilization technology can avoid the above-mentioned problems and accelerate the degradation of garbage piles to achieve stable landfill conditions.
