Experimental Study on the Formula of Spent TBP Kerosene Suspension
The phosphoric acid produced from the organic waste liquid of tributyl phosphate(TBP)and kerosene(OK)generated during the post-treatment process of direct incineration of nuclear fuel can cause corrosion to the equipment. When using the pyrolysis incineration process to treat this waste liquid, appropriate proportions of neutralizing agents and surfactants need to be added to prepare the waste liquid into a uniform and stable suspension.Neutralizing agents can fix phosphorus pentoxide during the pyrolysis process, avoiding the formation of phosphoric acid and corrosion of equipment. This article studies the effects of the dosage and stirring rate of various raw materials on the performance of suspension through different single factor experiments, and optimizes the suspension formula of the pyrolysis incineration feeding system in the post-treatment plant. The test results show that when the volume content of TBP is 30%~60%,the prepared suspension has good performance, which can be used as a basic scheme for suspension preparation. When the volume content of TBP is greater than 80%,the prepared suspension has poor stability, lotion phase demulsification and sedimentation, and the overall performance of the suspension is poor. When the volume content of TBP is 30%and 60%respectively,under the conditions of a calcium phosphorus ratio of 1.25~1.75,an emulsifier content of 1%~2%,a water content of 8%~12%,and a DBP content of no more than 0.26%and 0.6%,the prepared suspension has good emulsifying and flowability, meets the requirements for viscosity and stability time, and produces less secondary waste. The suspension can be applied in the thermal decomposition and incineration treatment of TBP/OK organic waste liquid.
