The Design and Exploration of Incorporating the"Course Ideology and Politics"into Polymer Chemistry Teaching:the Case of Radical Polymerization
Polymer chemistry is a subject closely related to material science,which plays important roles in the development of modern chemical industry and material science.Ideological and political education is an important method to cultivate the correct world outlook,life outlook and value outlook of the young generation.There are many similarities between polymer chemistry and ideological and political education in the teaching contents.This paper takes the teaching knowledge of radical polymerization as an example.Through introducing innovative teaching design,student-centered case study,group discussion,as well as ultilazing social medias,the course ideological and politics is gently incorporated into the polymer chemistry teaching.This will greatly help students understanding the basic principles of polymer chemistry,cultivating their comprehensive quality,and improving their sense of social responsibility and cultural self-confidence.
