Study on Catalyst for the Preparation of Methylstyrene by Dehydrogenation of Methyl-ethylbenzene from Carbon-nine Raw Materials
In this experiment, the Fe-K-Mo catalyst for the dehydrogenation of methylethylbenzene to methyl styrene was prepared, and it was determined that:Reaction temperature 600~620℃,water-hydrocarbon ratio(mass ratio)2.5~3.0,liquid space velocity 0.7~1.0 h-1 are the optimum conditions for the dehydrogenation of methyl ethylbenzene. The effects of calcination temperature, iron source,potassium-iron ratio and promotor Mo on catalyst performance were studied, the results show that the catalyst has good conversion and selectivity under calcination temperature of 850℃,Fe(NO3)3 iron source, potassium to iron ratio of 0.25 and promotor Mo;XRD and TPR tests indicate that K2Fe22O34 phase is the main active component of methyl ethylbenzene dehydrogenation; The addition of Mo additive has obvious effect on improving the structure and activity of the catalyst, and also improves the thermal stability and oxidation resistance of Fe-K catalyst.
