Evaluation of Polymer Driving Effect in Reservoirs with Different Wettability and Permeability
Under different reservoir conditions, there are differences in the matching relationship between polymer and core pore and throat, which has a great influence on the development effect of polymer-driven reservoirs. Therefore, this paper mainly obtains the pressure transfer and oil driving effect of different polymers in different wettability and permeability cores through the pressure transfer and oil driving experiments of different polymers in different wettability and permeability cores. The results show that under the same conditions(viscosity of polymer solution, shear rate and injection speed are the same),the higher the relative molecular mass of the polymer, the larger the effective volume of its molecules in solution, the stronger the viscosity increasing ability, the stronger the ability to control the oil-water flow rate ratio, that is to say,the larger the resistance coefficient of it.The change in the wettability of the core has a greater influence on the degree of water drive recovery, and the degree of water drive recovery is relatively higher in weakly hydrophilic cores. In the chemical drive stage, the average recovery rate of chemical drive between strongly hydrophilic core and weakly hydrophilic low-permeability core is not much different, and both of them are higher than that of neutral wettability core and oil-wetted core, and the low-permeability core with weak hydrophilic status is more favorable to improve the crude oil recovery degree.
