Research Progress on Vacuum Distillation Recovery of High-purity Metals for Dry Post-treatment of Spent Fuel
In the dry reprocessing of spent fuel,vacuum distillation is usually used to purify cathode products and recover molten salt.This paper focuses on the application of vacuum distillation in the dry reprocessing of spent fuel,and systematically summarizes the overall progress of this technology.It is pointed out that the key problem to be solved in the future of vacuum distillation technology in the fuel treatment process of molten salt reactor is the equipment tolerance under high temperature and high radioactivity environment.The combination with other separation technologies to form a more perfect molten salt reactor fuel treatment system is the future development trend.The research progress in the selection and optimization of molten salt system and the optimization of distillation equipment and parameters is reviewed.It is pointed out that the future development of vacuum distillation technology is to further optimize the molten salt system,explore the adaptability of different molten salt systems to the separation of various elements in spent fuel,and optimize the design and parameters of distillation equipment to improve the separation efficiency and recovery rate.
