Preliminary Investigation and Study on Soil Pollution in an Industrial Plot
The plot of a leather factory in the Pearl River Delta region has been dismantled, and the future utilization plan of this plot belongs to the second class industrial land.In order to ensure the environmental safety of the future redevelopment and utilization of this plot,an investigation of soil and groundwater pollution was carried out.Because of the industrial production activities in this plot, the second-stage sampling analysis was carried out.Base on field distribution principle,34 soil monitoring points and 6 groundwater monitoring points were arranged in the plot, and soil samples and groundwater samples were collected according to technical specifications. The results show that all soil indicators tested are lower than the risk screening values for soil contamination, and the groundwater environmental conditions basically meets the corresponding environmental standards,so there is no need to carry out detailed investigation and risk assessment of soil pollution.
