Protective Effects of Polysaccharide from Actinidia Chinensis Planch on Alcoholic Liver Injury in Mice
Objective:Exploring the protective effect of polysaccharide from Actinidia Chinensis Planch on alcoholic liver injury(ALI)model mice.Method:Ultrasound was used to extract polysaccharides from Actinidia chinensis root.Sixty healthy male Kunming mice were randomly divided into six groups:blank control group, model group, positive control group, low, medium and high dose groups of polysaccharide from Actinidia Chinensis Planch.Except for the blank group, all other groups of mice were continuously gavaged with 56° Red Star Erguotou wine for 15 days. The acute alcoholic liver injury model was replicated and killed. The serum levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),superoxide dismutase(SOD),Glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),Malondialdehyde(MDA)level and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-))and Interleukin-6(IL-6)content in liver tissue were measured.Calculate the mouse liver index, and observe pathological sections of liver tissue. Results:The experimental results showed that compared with the model group, the levels of serum AST,ALT,TG,and TC in the different concentration groups of polysaccharides from Actinidia chinensis root were significantly reduced(P<0.05);The levels of SOD and GSH in the liver increased significantly(P<0.05);IL-6,TNF-α and MDA concentration decreased(P<0.05);The pathological changes of the liver were significantly improved. Conclusion:polysaccharide from Actinidia Chinensis Planch can alleviate liver damage caused by rapid and excessive alcohol consumption, and their mechanism may be related to their antioxidant effects.
