Determination of Volatile Organic Compounds in Ambient Air by Portable Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry
In this paper,a portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for volatile organic compounds in ambient air was established and the laboratory detection procedures were standardized. The analysis of high/low concentration curve, detection limit and determination limit, precision and accuracy of 52 kinds of volatile organic compounds was carried out.The results showed that the correlation coefficients of the high/low concentration calibration curves for 52 compounds were all greater than 0.990,indicating a good linear relationship. The range of detection limit was 0.4 μg/m3~5.0 μg/m3,and the range of determination limit was 1.7 μg/m3~20.0 μg/m3,which were not greater than the detection limit and determination lower limit in the standard. The relative standard deviation was less than 25%,and the recovery range of standard addition was within 70%~130%,indicating good precision and accuracy. This method is suitable for the determination of volatile organic compounds in ambient air.
