Comprehensive Chemistry Experiment Design Based on OBE Concept:Preparation of g-C3N4 and Photocatalytic Degradation of Pollutants
Based on the Outcome-Based Education(OBE)philosophy, which centers on students and is guided by learning outcomes, this paper designs a comprehensive chemistry experiment for the preparation of graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)and the study of its photocatalytic properties.Initially, students will synthesize g-C3N4 through thermal polymerization and characterize its structure using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction, and infrared spectroscopy.Subsequently, the photocatalytic degradation performance of g-C3N4 will be evaluated using ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry.During the teaching process,student-centered tasks covering key knowledge points are meticulously formulated, while learning outcomes guide a comprehensive,full-process,and multi-dimensional evaluation.Through this experiment, students will not only deepen their understanding of g-C3N4 materials and photocatalytic technology but also develop their experimental operation and data analysis skills, enhancing their scientific literacy and innovative thinking. The design and implementation of this experiment fully embodies the OBE concept, focusing on students and learning outcomes to holistically enhance students'comprehensive abilities.
