Experimental Teaching Design for VOC Separation Performance of PDMS/ZIF-8 Mixed Matrix Membranes Prepared by Emulsion Method
Under the background of dual carbon, the emission reduction of volatile organic compounds(VOC)has attracted widespread attention. Therefore,a comprehensive experiment was designed to prepare PDMS/ZIF-8 mixed matrix membrane by emulsion method for VOC separation. The film-forming process, membrane structure and morphology were characterized and analyzed by infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and ultra-depth microscopy. The results of the VOC/N2 separation performance test showed that the PDMA/ZIF-8 membrane had good VOC separation performance. With the increase of ZIF-8 content, the VOCs permeability of PDMS/ZIF-8 membrane decreased first and then increased, while the separation selectivity showed the opposite trend. The experiment covers literature research, gas separation membrane preparation, structural characterization analysis, performance testing and other skill training, which can strengthen students'understanding and expansion of basic knowledge of chemical mass transfer and separation, stimulate their innovation potential, and improve their independent learning and innovation practice capabilities.
