The drug sustained-release system is the fastest developing new drug delivery system in recent years.The current research status of drug sustained-release systems were introduced in this paper,comparing with common types of drug sustained-release systems,The drug-loading characteristics,preparation methods,application scenarios,and drug-loading evaluations of liposomes,nanoparticles,and hydrogel drug delivery systems have been mainly elaborated.The limitations of these different systems were evaluated,and the development of drug sustained-release systems was prospected.
