Research Progress of Pfaffia Paniculata on Chemical Compositions and Pharmacological Actions
Pfaffia Paniculata(Pfaffiapaniculata and Pfaffiaglomerata)has become the focus of scientific research due to its medicinal value.Pfaffia Paniculata has been successfully introduced and cultivated in China.This article reviews the chemical composition(mainly triterpenes,saponins and steroids)and pharmacological effects(anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,immune regulation)of Pfaffia Paniculata with the intention of enriching the local medicinal material resource and developing the new medicinal material.Its development provides a foundation to promote the in-depth integration and innovation of Pfaffia Paniculata in the field of Chinese medicine and health products.
