The Impact of Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds on Summertime Surface Ozone in Shenyang
The precursors of ozone are divided into nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds(VOCs),with VOCs further categorized into anthropogenic VOCs and biogenic VOCs.Based on the continuous ozone pollution in Shenyang during the summer, this study examines the impact of biogenic VOCs on ozone in Shenyang under three different emission scenarios.Sensitivity analysis of BVOCs is conducted using CMAQ-DDM sensitivity technology. The research indicates that during the summer ozone production process in Shenyang,BVOCs contribute to an increase in ozone concentration, although there are instances where BVOCs negatively impact ozone concentration during certain time periods.Local BVOCs contribute less to ozone concentration, while external BVOCs have a larger impact on ozone concentration.
