Study on Characteristics of Ordinary Kerosene Combustion and Emission Products
As a liquid fuel commonly used in daily life and industry, the study of combustion process and emission characteristics of ordinary kerosene is particularly important. In this paper, the methods of experiment and characterization were used to set up an experimental platform for kerosene combustion, and thermal swimming technology was used to collect carbon soot particles, and transmission electron microscopy,XPS and other technologies were used to characterize carbon soot particles. The results show that:(1)The soot generation in the combustion process of common kerosene conforms to the evolution law of soot particles such as particle nucleation, surface formation, cluster agglomeration and particle oxidation;(2)In the carbon smoke generated outside the flame, the most functional group is C=C,reaching 60.71%,while the nitride content in the carbon smoke particles is small, but the pyridine content is much higher than other nitrides;(3)The particle size distribution of soot particles outside the flame ranges from 91.28 nm to 341.99 nm,which is significantly larger than that of soot particles inside the flame according to TEM image statistics.(4)In the thermogravimetric experiment, under the nitrogen atmosphere, the carbon smoke particles at 567℃,a turning mass decline.
