Objective:To observe the effect of ginseng extracts on the combing and tensile properties of hair.Methods:Ginseng extract solution was used to treat hair bundles,and the improvement effects of ginseng extract solution on combing properties and tensile properties of undyed hair and dyed hair were investigated by hair combability test and single hair tensile test.Results:Ginseng aqueous and alcoholic extracts at low,medium and high doses significantly reduced the dry combability load and wet combability load of undyed and dyed hair strands,with statistically significant differences(p＜0.05);the ginseng extracts had a certain improvement in the stretching of single hair strands.Conclusion:Ginseng extracts have been shown to improve the combing and tensile properties of hair.
