Analysis of Innovation and Practical Ability Cultivation Based on Curriculum Research in Biochemical Teaching of Glucose Metabolism
The development of the society demands more and more from college students,so having strong innovative and practical abilities has become an urgent need for them to find employment and adapt to the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Biochemistry is a basic experimental course for all specialities in medicine and life sciences is an important base for cultivating postgraduate students'innovative and practical abilities. This paper discusses the teaching model and the theoretical and practical value of implementing course research in the teaching of biochemistry's chapter"Glucose Metabolism"to cultivate college students'innovative and practical abilities. We combined training of university students with scientific research classroom, project participation, production practice, enterprise research and development in phases sequentially, and combined the teaching content of the chapter of"Glucose Metabolism"to guide students to carry out scientific research and deepen their understanding of the learning content.Through long-term teaching practice and pedagogical research,we have constructed a model of course research and nurturing with the goal of cultivating college students'innovative and practical abilities,in order to solve the contradiction between the demand for innovative and practical talents for the modernisation of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the nurturing output of the traditional mode of college student cultivation.Through the implementation of the curriculum research and teaching model,we have achieved better results in the teaching of biochemistry courses, and enhanced the scientific research and innovation ability and scientific research practice literacy of university students.
