Shutdown Strategy and Restart Safety Analysis of Alternate Cold and Hot Crude Oil Pipeline
The safety of pipeline shutdown is closely related to the oil flow temperature and soil temperature field along the pipeline. In order to ensure safety while considering economy, using cold oil shutdown can undoubtedly ensure better economy under the condition of ensuring that the temperature is not lower than the minimum safe temperature of the oil. Therefore, determining the temperature drop of the oil in the pipeline for short-term and long-term shutdown has important guiding significance for formulating restart plans and shutdown maintenance plans. Therefore, based on the historical operating data of Dongying-Linyi crude oil pipeline, the model of the alternate transmission pipeline of cold and hot crude oil was established by SPS simulation software, and the simulation results were compared with the actual working conditions to verify the simulation effect of the model.Subsequently, taking the safe shutdown of cold and hot oil alternating transmission on the Dongying-Linyi parallel crude oil pipeline as the research goal, the safety of short and long shutdown of cold and hot oil and the safety of cold and hot oil restart and flow recovery are calculated respectively. The simulation results indicate that the safety of using cold oil and hot oil for shutdown is greatly affected by environmental temperature. Both meet the requirements for inlet oil temperature in spring, autumn, and summer, and it is best to use cold oil for shutdown in winter. The use of cold oil during restart can cause a lower temperature in the mixed oil section, slow flow recovery process, and require a large amount of imported crude oil for restart, which has a significant impact on the soil temperature field along the line.
