In the criminal investigation of the inspection of places coated with art paint,when it is indispensable to discover,reveal,and fix traces such as fingerprints,the particularity of art paint as an emerging material should be taken into account.By using the"502"glue fuming staining way to indispensable the experiment on latent sweat fingerprints on the art paint(selecting Malaysia paint,gold foil paint,and wallpaper paint),it is found that the"502"glue fuming combined with powder staining method,especially the gentian violet staining method,has an effect on latent sweat fingerprints on the art paint.Thus,it can provide a way for the revealing of latent sweat fingerprints on the surface of art paint and provide reference and guidance for combating illegal crimes.
