In this paper,based on the relevant national and local technical guidelines and norms,a preliminary investigation on soil and groundwater pollution was carried out of a hardware and plastic enterprise closed relocation plot in Qingyuan City.The future planning of this research plot belongs to industrial land.The project team identified potential pollution areas and characteristic pollutants in the plot by collecting and analyzing historical data,interviewing personnel and conducting site surveys.Seven soil monitoring points and three groundwater monitoring points were set up in the plot,and two soil control monitoring points and one groundwater control monitoring point were set up outside the plot.After on-site drilling sampling and laboratory testing and analysis,the results showed that the test results of soil detection indicators were lower than the corresponding soil pollution risk screening values,and the groundwater environmental status has reached the corresponding environmental standards basically,and there was no need to carry out detailed investigation and risk assessment.The investigation of the environmental quality of soil and groundwater of the plot meets the requirements of the development and utilization of the plot as an industrial land.
