Application of MATLAB Numerical Simulation in Principles of Material Engineering Teaching:Taking the 3D Thermal Conduction Process of Porous Materials as an Example
Heat transfer is an important content in the course of"Principles of Material Engineering"and is a necessary basic knowledge for students majoring in engineering such as chemical engineering and materials. This article takes the three-dimensional thermal conductivity process of porous materials as an example, and uses MATLAB numerical simulation method to reconstruct the three-dimensional pore structure.By establishing an energy control equation for steady-state thermal conductivity, the thermal conductivity and temperature distribution of porous materials are solved, which has research and application value for the design, research, and prediction of the performance of porous materials. This article utilizes modern information technology to transform abstract theoretical knowledge and formulas into vivid three-dimensional images, which can improve students'mastery and application level of heat transfer knowledge, increase the fun and practicality of classroom learning, and provide reference for cultivating innovative and applied talents who meet the requirements of new engineering disciplines.
