Experimental Improvement and Innovative Design of Electrochemical Synthesis of Polyaniline
The observation of polyaniline color conversion phenomenon in the existing experimental scheme is not intuitive and clear enough, and its conductive property test and practical application is not mentioned, which has been difficult to meet the teaching requirements of improving students'comprehensive practical ability,so the experimental content is improved and designed innovatively.Specifically, the mixed acid between oxalic acid and citric acid is used instead of traditional concentrated nitric acid or concentrated sulfuric acid, and stainless steel is used as the working electrode material to synthesize polyaniline by cyclic voltammetry instead of equipotential method. The color conversion of polyaniline can be observed immediately and clearly. The structure of polyaniline was characterized by the infrared spectrum. The anticorrosion performance was tested by the potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance. The understanding of the relationship between the structure and performance of polyaniline is more profound. This project enriches the experimental teaching content, and achieves the combination of theory and application, and achieves the teaching and training goal of improving comprehensive practical ability. At the same time, the improved experiment conforms to the concepts of green chemistry.
