The preparation of peel-off facial mask composed of water and oil phases was systematically studied. When facial mask was used, water and oil phases were mixed in a certain proportion and used on the face. After a certain period of time, the film could be formed and removed. The effects of the dosage of sodium alginate on the viscosity of the peel-off facial mask and the dosage of anhydrous calcium sulfate on the film-forming time of the peel-off facial mask were investigated; The effects of diatomite, kaolin and perlite on the film toughness of peel-off facial mask were compared; The effects of the amount of sodium chloride and PEG-75 on the moisture content of the peel-off facial mask were investigated. The results showed that when the dosage of sodium alginate was 2.33%,peel-off facial mask had a suitable viscosity;the film-forming time will be shorter when the amount of anhydrous calcium sulfate is higher;Diatomaceous earth makes the film of peel-off facial mask more flexible;Too much sodium chloride and PEG-75 will cause water leakage during the use of facial mask, while too little sodium chloride and PEG-75 will make consumer feel dry and insufficient moisturizing.
