Research Progress of New Binder for High Specific Energy Lithium-ion Battery
The continuous and rapid growth of emerging technologies such as electric vehicles,artificial intelligence and virtual reality has gradually increased the energy density and cycle life requirements of lithium-ion batteries.As the core component of lithium-ion battery,binder has practical significance in bonding the electrochemically active material and conductive agent,maintaining electrode integrity,and regulating the positive/negative pole-electrolyte interface.It is an effective method to improve the electrochemical performance of lithium-ion battery.In this paper,the latest research progress of new binder structure design for constructing high specific energy lithium-ion batteries in different energy storage materials is reviewed,and the design ideas of the next generation of binders for lithium-ion batteries are prospect from the perspective of artificial intelligence(AI)technology.
