The En Value is Applied to Analyze the Uncertainty in the Determination of Cyanide Content in Drinking Water by Continuous Analyzer
Objective to determine the uncertainty and En value of cyanide in water by Skalar San++continuous analyzer. Methods By establishing mathematical model, the uncertainty introduced by six components, including standard substance, preparation of standard solution, multiple measurements, standard curve fitting, recovery and detection limit, were analyzed and evaluated, comparison with the extended uncertainty of detection limit given by the authoritative inspection institution, the En value test was used to evaluate whether the laboratory instruments meet the detection requirements. Conclusion the extended uncertainty of the detection limit in our laboratory is U=45.6%(K=2),and the extended uncertainty of the detection limit given by the authority is U=50%(K=2),|En|=0.15<1,it can be considered that this method is suitable for the evaluation of uncertainty in the determination of cyanide content in water by continuous flow method, and can provide reference value for establishing efficient quality control method in the verification period of the instrument.
