Determination of Titanium Content in Montmorillonite by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry
A detection method for determining titanium in montmorillonite by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy(ICP-OES)has been established. The experimental results show that the method has a good linear relationship, and the correlation coefficient(r)is greater than 0.999;The detection limit and quantification limit of titanium element are 0.0965 and 0.318 mg·kg-1,respectively;The relative standard deviation(RSD)of precision and repeatability were 0.676%and 2.29%,respectively,and the recovery rate of samples was 99.69%.The above results indicate that this method has a low detection limit, high precision and accuracy, and is an ideal analytical method for detecting titanium elements in montmorillonite and similar mineral samples.
