Optimization of Supramolecular Polymer Preparation Process Based on Host-guest Interaction of Cyclodextrin by Response Surface Method
Supramolecular polymer P(AM/A-CD/C16DMAAC)based on cyclodextrin host-guest interaction was prepared by free radical copolymerization.Effects of polymerization temperature,pH and total monomer concentration on the apparent viscosity of supramolecular polymer were investigated. On the basis of single factor experiment,BBD response surface method was used to establish the relationship model between apparent viscosity and various factors. Results showed that the influence of each factor on apparent viscosity was in order of total monomer concentration>pH>polymerization temperature. The optimal process conditions were as follows:polymerization temperature was 50.2℃,pH value was 7.9,total monomer concentration was 20.8 wt%.Under these conditions, the observed apparent viscosity of the polymer is 568 mPa·s,which is close to the predicted value of 560 mPa·s with a deviation of 1.41%.
