The petrochemical industry is one of the three pillar industries in Fujian Province,and 40%of the industry's output value is contributed by Quanzhou.Since the first drop of oil was produced in Fujian Province in 1992,Quanzhou petrochemical industry has been developing from scratch,growing from small to large,and has now become one of the important petrochemical industry bases in China's coastal areas.This paper based on a survey of major petrochemical enterprises in Quanzhou by various methods such as field research,conference discussions and data analysis,attempting to sort out the development trajectory of Quanzhou's petrochemical industry,and analyze the strengths and weaknesses in the industry chains,exploring the path for promoting high-quality development of Quanzhou petrochemical industry through industrial chain investment promotion.The development suggestions for strengthening,supplementing,and extending the petrochemical industrial chain,and the priority investment list were proposed to provide new ideas for high-quality development of the petrochemical industry in Quanzhou.
