Phase Equilibrium in LiCl-Li2B4O7-H2O Aqueous Ternary System at 308.15k
The phase equilibrium of ternary system LICL-Li2B4O7-H2O at 308.15 K was studied by isothermal solution equilibrium method. The composition and refractive index of the equilibrium solution were measured and the phase diagram was drawn. It is found that the system is simple co-saturated,without double salt and solid solution formation. The phase diagram consists of one saturation point, two single solid crystal regions and two isothermal dissolution curves. The balance composition was ѡ(Li2B4O7)=0.45592%,ѡ(LiCl)=36.503%.The single-component solid phase crystals are Li2B4O7·3H2O and LiCl·H2O,respectively.The solubility curves of the system at 298.15 K,308.15 K and 323.15 K were compared and analyzed, and it was found that the variation trend of the solubility curves at different temperatures was the same.At 308.15 k,the refractive index of the system increases with the mass fraction of LiCl,and LiCl has a salting effect on Li2B4O7.
