Research Progress on Chemical Constituents and Pharmacological Effects of Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium
Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium(Chenpi)was first listed in the Sheng Nong's herbal classic,and is classified as a high quality product with the ability to regulate qi and strengthen the spleen,dry dampness and disperse phlegm,etc.It is mainly used for the clinical symptoms of bloating and fullness in the stomach and abdomen,poor appetite,vomiting,diarrhoea,and coughing with excessive phlegm.As a common dual-use traditional Chinese medicine,it has a wide range of applications.Chenpi contains a variety of active ingredients,including terpenes and volatile oils,flavonoids,alkaloids and other components;various pharmacological studies have shown that Chenpi has a variety of pharmacological effects,such as anti-inflammatory,anti-tumour,antioxidant,cardiovascular effects and other effects.Therefore,this paper reviews the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Chenpi in order to provide a scientific theoretical basis for the subsequent studies on Chenpi.
