Study on Application of FENTON-FBR and BAF in the Upgrading of Printing and Papermaking Wastewater
This paper presents a case study on the comprehensive treatment and upgrading project for papermaking wastewater in a paper mill located in Deyang,Sichuan Province. The chosen primary treatment approach for achieving deep treatment and upgrading of the papermaking wastewater involves the combination of a FENTON-FBR and an BAF.By implementing this process, the wastewater is successfully elevated from the emission standard specified in Table 2 of the Emission Standards for Water Pollutants in the Pulp and Paper Industry(GB3544-2008)for papermaking enterprises to the discharge limit stipulated in Table 1 of the Water Pollutant Emission Standards for the Minjiang and Tuojiang River Basins in Sichuan Province(DB51/2311-2016)applicable to"Industrial Park Centralized Wastewater Treatment Plants."Notably, this treatment method exhibits outstanding performance in terms of effectively removing refractory pollutants, displaying robust resistance against shock loads, and consistently delivering stable effluent quality.Consequently,it holds considerable practical value while simultaneously ensuring economical operational costs are maintained at a low level.
