Research and Development of Intergrated Aeration MBR Technology and Pilot Demonstration
High energy consumption is generally recognized as one of bottlenecks limiting the further large-scale development of MBR technology.Intergrated aeration MBR(IA MBR)technology collects all the oxygen-poor tail gas of biochemical tank and converts it into intermittent pulse large bubbles by a specially designed intergrated aeration system to brush membrane cassette without additional energy comsuption,which has a remarkable effect on controlling membrane pollution.The pilot demonstration results of fine chemical wastewater treatment show that intergrated aeration system has good aeration uniformity with average interval of large bubble overflow is 8.54 s~11.62 s,and its standard deviation is 0.81 s~0.99 s.The membrane system operates stably with the decay rate of water permeability during a recovery cleaning cycle(RC)is 0.16 LMH/bar.h.The intergrated aeration MBR(IA MBR)technology has a remarkable effect,and the removal rate of COD,ammonia nitrogen and TN reach 75%,88%and 65%respectively.On the premise of achieving the same water quality as the water plant process,IA MBR achieves zero energy consumption for membrane purging aeration,reduces the energy consumption from 1.02 kWh/m3 to 0.66 kWh/m3,and the hydraulic retention time from 44 hours to 6.25 hours.The sludge load,nitrification rate and denitrification rate are 3.5~4.5 times that of A2O-MBR.
