Comprehensive Evaluation and Analysis of Reservoir Water Quality in Shaoguan
This study monitored 11 water quality indicators of 12 reservoirs in Shaoguan,The comprehensive evaluation of reservoir water quality was carried out by using single-factor evaluation method, comprehensive trophic level index method(TLI),water quality index comprehensive evaluation method(WQI)and water quality health comprehensive evaluation method(ETI).And multivariate statistical methods were used to identify the main factors causing the spatial differences of water quality in each reservoir and analyze the dominant factors affecting the evaluation results of ETI and WQI.The results show that:(1)In the single-factor evaluation results, there are four water quality indicators exceeding the standard. The exceeding items are five-day biochemical oxygen demand, total phosphorus, total nitrogen and fecal coliforms.Five reservoirs reach Class Ⅲ water quality standards.(2)The TLI evaluation results of each reservoir are 24.17~43.04.Three reservoirs are at oligotrophic level and nine reservoirs are at mesotrophic level. The nutritional status of each reservoir is generally good.(3)The ETI evaluation results of each reservoir are 0.22~0.96.Among them, the number of reservoirs with excellent and good water quality grades is 8 and 2 respectively, and the number of reservoirs with medium and poor grades is 1 each.(4)The WQI evaluation results of each reservoir are 62.13~87.69.Four reservoirs are at excellent water quality grade and eight reservoirs are at good water quality grade.
