Exploration of Experimental Teaching in Energy Chemistry Engineering under the Background of New Engineering
The professional experimental courses of energy chemical engineering aim to cultivate students with basic operational skills and the ability to handle energy chemical engineering problems.A transition metal sulfide catalyst has been designed for hydrogen production through water electrolysis.Initially, the metal precursor was synthesized via a solvothermal method, followed by in-situ sulfurization through calcination to fabricate MoS2/NiS2 catalyst. This experiment can exercise students'experimental operation ability, familiarize them with the preparation methods of transition metal sulfide catalysts and the experimental procedures of hydrogen production from water electrolysis, equip them with the knowledge of operating and understanding the principles of instrumentation, and impart an understanding of the structural characteristics and performance evaluation methods of hydrogen evolution catalysts.Furthermore,it aims to provide students with a profound insight into the development trends in cutting-edge fields such as new energy and new materials, ultimately fostering high-caliber,adaptable talent for the evolving needs of the energy chemistry engineering industry.
