Comparison of Two Methods for Determining the Content of Aspirin Enteric-coated Tablets in Teaching Applications
Determining the content of aspirin enteric-coated tablets is the core teaching content of pharmaceutical analysis experiments.Two-step acid-base titration and high-performance liquid chromatography are the two most commonly used methods in teaching experiments. This study compares experimental principles, methods, experimental facilities, and teaching practice capabilities from many aspects. The two-step acid-base titration method has the characteristics of easy experimental operation and less experimental equipment required, but the measurement results are not accurate enough. The high-performance liquid chromatography method provides accurate measurement results and can improve students'ability to use high-performance liquid chromatography. However, the experimental process is complex and has high requirements on experimental space and funding. Finally,it is proposed to use the two-step acid-base titration method as the basic teaching content and high-performance liquid chromatography as the expanded content. While understanding the principles and methods of determining the content of aspirin enteric-coated tablets,we will improve students'ability to apply modern drug analysis equipment and improve the level of talent training.
