To train the qualified socialist builders,the ideological and political teaching of chemical technology course is discussed.According to the ideological and political teaching objectives and curriculum teaching objectives,the cultivation of patriotism and social responsibility,dialectical thinking and innovative thinking are taken as the ideological and political elements.The production of chemical basic raw materials,synthetic ammonia catalyst,synthetic ammonia tower,hydrocarbon pyrolysis reaction conditions,hydrocarbon cracking furnace,vinyl chloride production methods were selected as the teaching topics.The inquiry teaching methods were applied in teaching activities,guiding students to find problems,discuss problems and solve problems.It is advantageous for guiding students to establish a correct world outlook,and enhancing students'sense of social responsibility.
