Recent Progress in the Regulation of Lattice Strain in Lead Halide Perovskite Thin Films
Lead halide perovskite films have demonstrated significant potential in photovoltaic applications. However, their commercialization is still challenged by issues of stability. In recent years, lattice strain in lead halide perovskite films has garnered increasing attention.Research indicates that lattice strain not only directly affects the band gap, carrier mobility, and defect formation energy of lead halide perovskite films but may also induce film degradation. Thus, controlling lattice strain is considered an effective strategy to enhance the performance and stability of lead halide perovskite films. This paper reviews the recent advancements in the control of lattice strain in lead halide perovskite films, focusing on the impact of various control methods on the performance and stability of these films and their photovoltaic devices.Future research directions are also discussed.
