Research Progress of New Drilling Fluid Plugging Materials
Drilling fluid leakage is one of the most challenging and complex problems that need to be prevented or dealt with in the drilling process.This paper discusses the research status and shortcomings of plugging materials,introduces bridging(plug)plugging materials,polymer gel plugging materials,epoxy resin plugging materials and intelligent plugging materials,and clears out the composition of leakage materials,plugging mechanism,plugging advantages and disadvantages and other technical status.The direction for the research of new drilling fluid plugging materials is clear.
