A Review of Research on Evaluation Methods for Dandruff Removal in Cosmetics
This paper summarizes the main methods of anti-dandruff efficacy evaluation:human efficacy evaluation method and in vitro efficacy evaluation method,especially the diffusion method of in vitro efficacy method.Through the analysis of a number of literatures related to diffusion method,it is concluded that Oxford Cup method is the most feasible method for evaluating the anti-dandruff efficacy at the present stage.It has the advantages of simple and easy operation,objective and accurate data,good repeatability and low experimental cost.At the same time,the minimum antibacterial concentration of the anti-dandruff effective ingredient of the product formulation can be adjusted with dilution method to achieve the best anti-dandruff effect of the product.
